The plant features a NH3 pipe system for pH control and can also be fed with NaOH, KOH or acids from external vessels. The dosage with air, nitrogen or special gas mixtures is possible at any time. After each production automatic and validated CIP/SIP cleaning steps are performed. For every fermentation process a batch protocol is kept, which is completed with the data of the parameters from the process control system and the analysis values of the QC laboratory.
