Lactosan Pharma offers contract manufacturing for APIs basing on microorganisms according to GMP/cGMP standards. The new production plant in Kapfenberg features a 1,000 l fermentation tank with a separation by means of a centrifuge. The entire machinery is equipped with an automatic CIP/SIP system. The validated process control performs all required tasks automatically.

A cleanroom complying to all new requirements is equipped for the further processing with a sterilisable freeze-drying unit, mill, mixer and product storage at 4°C and -20°C.
